The rich and dense palette of ochre, soft and bright blues, and violent purples are structured by an abstract geometry.
Pasquier's work is broadly inspired by nature, the sea and the coast, in line with the tradition of marine painters. Emerald, a tapestry, is not so much a representation, but manages still to bring to mind the world of the sea.
