Born 1983 in Les Lilas, France
A young French-Danish artist ans recent graduate (in 2009) from the Ecole nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris in the workshop oh Philippe Cognée (artist in the Société Générale Collection), Eva Nielsen was noticed the same year by the acquisitions committee of the Centre national d'art contemporain and became the youngest artist ever to have work purshased by the Fonds d'art contemporain. She then went to receive the Prix Agnès b.-Thaddeus Ropas. She is laureate of the Art Collector 2014.
