Gérard Titus-Carmel

Painter, draftsman, and engraver but also poet.

Since the early 1970's, he works in series about a theme or an object he creates himself before drawing or painting it. In surprising compositions which show a formidable formal assertiveness, he re-creates the movement through wales and hatching with pencil lead.
