Born in 1953 in the Netherlands.
Lives and works in Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.
Teeuwen is a graduate of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Tilburg (1982-1984) and the Kunstacademie in St. Joost, Breda (1984-1988). In 1993, she founded, and is now commissioner of, the KW14 Group, which organises biennial contemporary art exhibitions. In 2009, she was awarded the Krasnoyarsk Biennial Grand Prize. Her work was displayed at the Paris Photo fair in 2009.
